Anime Friends - Who would you get along with?

I have been thinking. If all the Anime characters we've watched are real, and we were able to choose one person that we wanted to be friends with, who would it be and why? I'm personally very shy with people I don't know, but once I know them, I'm completely different.

Females

When making friends with females, I always find it easier to talk to girls who have a quiet side and are gentle in nature. I just know that I would get along with almost any character who's a little shy, because they are much easier to talk to. Of course, I do also love the hyper ones as well, because nothing's better than going crazy with your friend over something you are really excited about. I also tend to love those girly characters who's into pink because that's something I love as well!

Amu - Shugo Chara



Amu is such a friendly girl who just loves to help people! I think I would get along great with her after really getting to know her. Plus, she and I both love pink

Hinata - Naruto



Hinata is qutie shy in the series, and I can be the same when it comes to new people. I think she would also be an extremely amazing person to talk to, especially with how kind she is to everyone. She'd definitely be a friend I would want.

Madoka - Madoka Magica



Madoka is also a very kind-hearted person. It's clear when everyone seemed to hate Homura, she wanted to be friends with her. That's the kind of attitude that would really make me feel relaxed around her.

Tohru - Fruits Basket



Tohru is extremely kind-hearted and I think she just brings a positive atmosphere to people, especially after all that she's been through. I think being friends with her would make anyone happy, and she's really nice to people.

Nia - Gurren Lagann



I think Nia could be friends with everybody! She is just so sweet and I think she's the kind of character that can really change you for the better and make you feel positive. She's such has a wonderful and upbeat personality, as well as being extremely kind.

Males

I really love male characters that has a soft side, such as being able to express certain emotions rather than the traditional male types who seems tough and keeps everything inside. I just find males who have this soft side really easy to communicate with and they understand you better. As I've always said, people who are quiet tend to listen better. Plus, they are generally really nice and just wonderfully good people. Although it's sad that those are usually the males who also tend to get picked on by other characters in the Anime, yet, they are the reason why I would find them friendly and great to be friends with. Also, if males can be silly and funny, that would be a bonus, because when I get to know someone, I also like to be really silly and crazy.

Simon - Gurren Lagann



Simon is just such a kind person! He holds onto his bond with his Bro, which made him fall into a very sad time during his death, but it's precisely because of that reason, I would find him very easy to talk to.

Takato - Digimon Tamers



Takato is the same as Simon, he's very kind hearted and although he's a goggleboy (leader), he's more laid back. I love characters like this, as I find them easy to relate to!

Shinji - Neon Genesis Evangelion



Shinji is very similar to Simon, that he is also a very good person, especially being kind hearted.

Keitaro - Love Hina



Poor Keitaro, always beaten by the women in Love Hina, but he is such a laid back, nice guy! He's always trying to help someone and is overall just sweet and funny. I really would appreciate a friend like him.

Vash - Trigun



Vash may appear to look all powerful with the gun on his hand, but in reality, he is extremely kind-hearted and hates to kill. That's what I really admire about him.
